WEBSITES & WEBLOGS NEWS

A relaxed Thanksgiving week at home and in cyberspace as well, friends, family and new readers spending a precious few days enjoying the companionship of those that they love. Nice!

The team reports no rest from the wicked at GE, MetLife, Gexpro, REXEL, the thugs at Sedgwick CMS, Bank of America, other TARP collectors and the usual dirty rotten scoundrels from the insurance industry.  Welcome all!

Sedgwick CMS Employee Fired for Private Practice of Religious Belief
(complaint here)

After reading the complaint (above) one additional facet of the Sedgbeast organization became apparent and shocking.  A model used by nearly all despots throughout history to maintain oppression and blind compliance with the regime. The Denial of a personal belief system!

After all friends, if Sedgwick CMS were to allow their employees to "believe" in a power greater than the Sedgbeast, then people may become unwilling or unable to follow the Sedgbeast's Golden Rule, "'Do unto others whatever is necessary to Deny the Claim and keep the Money"

IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE
MIDDLE DISTRICT OF TENNESSEE NASHVILLE
DIVISION
EDITH SUZANNE ALLEN,

Plaintiff,
vs.

THE AT&T DISABILITY INCOME
PROGRAM,

Defendant.

A recent case out of US District Court of Middle Tennessee highlights one of the many problems with disability insurance cases. The case, Allen v. AT&T Disability Income Program, pitted one of AT&T's "Circuit Provisioning Area Managers" against their disability plan. The manager, Ms. Allen, began suffering from severe depression brought about from her work and treatment of her ill mother. She sought counseling from a social worker who recommended psychiatric treatment. Both the social worker and psychiatrist opined that Ms. Allen was unable to work. Ms. Allen then applied for short-term disability benefits through the AT&T disability plan.  Her request was denied, Sedgwick style.
